We believe our team is the cornerstone of this ambition.If you're eager to be a part of this journey, this role could be the perfect fit for you.About the RoleReporting to the National Pre-Construction Manager, you will be responsible for providing robust cost planning estimates, tender bids, feasibilities, and contract management. You will utilise your strong stakeholder management and communication skills to maintain positive internal and external relationships.We offer flexibility regarding your location, with opportunities available in Otago, Queenstown, Wanaka, Auckland, or Canterbury.Responsibilities:Prepare tenders ranging from $500K to $20M+Accurately measure and price builder's quantitiesManage tender documentation and bid submissionsCultivate strong industry relationshipsSource and evaluate quotes from trade partners and suppliersAnalyse data related to land, buildings, or construction projectsConduct thorough due diligence to interpret the cost implications of tender documentationSkills and Experience:Bachelor of Construction Management (Quantity Surveyor – Construction Economics advantageous) or related fieldAt least 5 years of post-graduation experience in commercial construction estimating for main contractors (tier 2 preferred)Proven experience in measuring a variety of projects, including new builds and fit-outsProficiency with various estimating and project management software systemsExceptional communication and leadership abilitiesFlexible working optionsHealth insuranceOngoing development opportunities with our in-house Sports Psychologist, Software Trainers, and moreCareer and personal development highly encouraged and supportedA positive work/life balanceInclusive and supportive team environmentAccess to exciting and diverse projectsCompetitive salary package, including a laptop and phoneComplimentary access to EAP ServicesEqual Opportunities Employer and proud Diversity Works MemberImportant Note: Cook Brothers Construction are not currently accepting applications from external agencies for this position.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
