Tyler Wren: Business Advisory Services Director

At Tyler Wren, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished accounting professional to lead our Business Advisory Services division as a BAS Director. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role where you will shape the future of our firm and help drive the success of a diverse portfolio of clients.

The Role:
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team, ensuring the successful delivery of accounting, tax, and advisory services.
  • Provide strategic advice to a diverse range of clients across various industries, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for clients, identifying opportunities for business development and growth within our firm.
  • Mentor and develop junior and senior team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Key Requirements:
  • CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
  • 7+ years of experience in public practice, with a strong focus on BAS and advisory services
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a professional services environment
  • In-depth knowledge of New Zealand tax and accounting standards
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to identify opportunities for growth
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and MYOB
