Senior End User Computing Engineer

THE OPPORTUNITY In this newly created role within the Baby Bunting IT Team, you'll report directly to the IT Operations Manager. This is an exciting hands-on role which will see you supporting and maintaining Baby Bunting's End User Devices, (such as laptops, point-of-sale, PDTs and mobile phones) that service our Store Network, Distribution Centre, Corporate Office locations, and remote workers in Australia, New Zealand, India & the Philippines. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design & Implementation Develop, deploy, maintain and support enterprise level standard operating environments for end user devices including laptops, point of sale, mobile devices, printersand meeting room equipment. Leverage Mobile Device Management platforms and other tools to ensure that deployment and configuration of hardware, operating systems, software applications are managed securely, consistently and efficiently. Support & Training Participate in the IT Service Desk as a level 2/3 escalation point by helping the team to troubleshoot complex end user device issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures. Develop and maintain both processes and documentation to ensure that the IT Service Desk are equipped to consistently and efficiently respond to incidents and service requests. Asset Management Lead the cycling of end user devices including managing the asset inventory and lifecycle of hardware, software applications and operating systems. Innovation and Continuous Improvement Evaluate, recommend and implement technologies to drive innovation and efficiency within the end user computing domain. Projects and Initiatives Lead the implementation of technical projects such as rollout of Microsoft Intune and upgrade of Windows 10 to 11 across the business. Work as a technical expert on business transformation projects ABOUT YOU A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or relevant field Certifications in Azure, MCSE, ITIL are highly desired. Strong stakeholder engagement skills Exceptional and proactive communication skills enabling clear and concise communication with team members.
