The Role: Level 1 Retail IT Help Desk Are you looking for a role that allows you to apply your level 1 technical capability but also drive IT projects and gain exposure to all things IT? We have an exciting opportunity based in our Ellerslie support office for a passionate IT Support Technician. The main purpose of the role is to provide application & systems support, communicate with vendors and improve the IT systems that operate our retail stores, online fulfilment centre and support office. What will you be doing? Providing technical support, to maintain and improve our hardware & software for networked Windows computers, Mac OS, servers, printers, portable devices and other IT tools. Manage an IT support ticketing system, ensuring all requests are completed as per SLA. Managing installation, licensing, and configuration of software, including Office 365 suite, OnTempo, POS Systems, EFTPOS, Adobe software products, SCCM, Intune, and others. Be involved in projects nationwide. Working with Postie senior leaders to change IT and move the business forward. Experience in improving Postie's team members overall IT proficiency, through written and verbal direction. Assist with maintaining the IT database and all technical documentation. What are we looking for from you? 1+ years minimum IT Support/Customer Service professional experienceExperience with SCCM, Office 365, WAN and LAN is a mustRelevant hands-on experience in an IT helpdesk support or customer-facing technical service roleExperience with vendor relationship management and spend analysis and business case creation and project delivery (preferred)Experience supporting a retail environment (Preferred)Desktop related troubleshooting and repair experienceExperience supporting Windows operating systemsTertiary IT qualification or equivalent experienceStrong knowledge of PC and peripheral hardwareAbility to problem solve and learn new technologies quickly in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders This is a great opportunity to make an impact on our business.
