Are you passionate about supporting nursing student's success in a degree programme?Do you want to join a committed nursing education tima?If your answer is yes to these questions, we have got the perfect role for you here at Te Whare Takiura o Manukau (MIT).Our School of Nursing is seeking a highly motivated registered nurse who is passionate about the advancement of Maori nursing practice, is committed to the improvement of Maori health disparities, and addressing Hauora Maori.
The successful candidate will come with a strong clinical background in nursing, preferably with nursing education experience, a current practising certificate and a Master's degree.If you have a passion for nursing, akoranga (teaching) and advancement of Hauora Maori, have outstanding communication skills, established Maori networks and enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds, we would like to hear from youWhile the role requires a Master's degree and research activity, applicants on a developmental pathway may be considered on a case-by-case basis for a Kaiwhakaako (lecturer) role.Ahurea - Anga fakafonua - CultureAt MIT you will work with some incredible people who are passionate about the positive impact we make to the communities we serve.
