As a Senior Cadastral Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Surveyor-General in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of New Zealand's cadastral system.
Your responsibilities will include: * Setting Standards: Collaborate with the Surveyor-General to establish and maintain standards for cadastral and geodetic survey systems.
* Monitoring and Auditing: Conduct audits and monitor compliance to ensure the integrity of land information.
* Problem Solving: Work with our close-knit team to support our survey customers with technical solutions, dispensation requests and investigations of anomalies.

He pukenga tou - Skills & Experience * Hold or be eligible to hold a NZ Cadastral Survey License.
* Experience in cadastral surveying in NZ is preferred.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
The expected appointing range for this role is $120,000 to $130,000 depending on skills and experience: Nga mea e tukuna ana e tatau – What we offer our employees * Interesting work which impacts Aotearoa as we care for whenua, moana and arawai.
