It's now time to deliver on that, and fuel our next level of expansion - haere mai, come join us The Role - Sales Manager, Field Sales Reporting to a Sector Lead, in this role you will lead a team of dedicated sales specialists (both field and phone based staff) located across Te Ika-a-Maui, from the Hawkes Bay to the Far North. Responsible for leading and coaching the team, bring your leadership expertise to exceed sales targets while inspiring growth and increasing market share. You will be passionate about developing capabilities and building strong relationships with stakeholders and customers across the sector. Your key responsibilities are: Excellence in Sales Leadership Deliver budgets and sales excellence across the Northern Sales team. Lead the Northern Sales Team to exceed customer satisfaction, retention, and profitability in the sector. Guide the achievement of sales revenue, gross profit, margin %, and conversion targets through coaching and problem-solving Guide the Northern Sales team to seize opportunities to grow the "Share of Wallet" within existing accounts, and also capture new accounts in the Sector. Develop capability and best practice in solution selling, commercial acumen and negotiation across the Northern Sales team. Lead the resolution of customer, resource and process issues or escalations through internal and external collaboration and negotiation Field Sales execution Lead excellence in Sales account management to achieve margins, OGSM and scorecard measures Drive sales through clear, frequent and timely communication with customers that adds value. Ensure the provision of best practice sales enablement support and technology across the team Support accurate and transparent forecasting, compliance with S&OP processes and sales activity planning across the Northern Sales team Collaborate with the Business Development Team and Learning Consultants to maximise return in more complex or specialised opportunities Support the Sales Leadership team and Business Insights team to implement strategy, commercial profitability, operational excellence and process innovation initiatives What you will bring: 5+ years of proven Sales Leadership experience within a commercial environment Demonstrated experience in customer negotiations Previous experience working collaboratively with Sales Management Teams Track record of lifting both individual and team capability Strong analytical and problem-solving skills People and Culture Our people are genuine, and proactive solution finders.
