With tangata whaiora based both locally and rurally, this role provides an exciting opportunity to work closely with the communities in which people live and support better outcomes.About youCompetency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in upholding Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Be open to learning and engage in development opportunities.Be able to work using the guiding principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.Have well-developed time management skills with the ability to coordinate personal and team tasks in an efficient and organized manner.Be computer literate and have the ability to complete documentation, both written and electronic.Have a current full driver's license.Have proven experience working in mental health and addiction services.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
