Our Advisor supports and works alongside a team of skilled Specialist Advisors and builds strong relationships within the communities they are working with, can act as trusted partners and be accountable to deliver great results.We have a permanent full-time Advisor opportunity, based in Central Auckland with requirements to travel around the Central and East Auckland communities you will be working with. This dynamic role offers diverse and exciting opportunities to make a difference to Auckland communities. Responsibilities Day to day your responsibilities will look like:Contributing to and leading work that tackles some of the toughest issues facing Auckland communities.Supporting and working alongside a skilled team of Specialist Advisors with deliver and creation of contractual documentation.Working within an environment that encourages innovation and impact.If you're passionate about working with communities and looking for an opportunity to professionally develop, are self-driven and thrive on collaboration, innovation and delivering outcomes - this is the perfect role for you.Joining the Community Programme Delivery team (Central and East) would enable you to utilise your experience in community development to deliver innovative projects with our diverse Auckland Communities. Skills and Experience We are looking for skills and experience in:Community development and social enterpriseRelationship building and managementWorking with Maori and PasifikaEngagement of diverse communitiesYou must have an outstanding track record of:Project managing and delivering collaborative, results-focused work programmes.Being comfortable with complexity and ambiguity.Providing strategic advice and influencing at all levels.Working with a diverse range of community and organisational stakeholders.You have a full NZ driver's licence or can travel independently. You can also self-manage a working week to include attending occasional community events outside of traditional working hours.You'll work in a stimulating environment and be part of a passionate team committed to Auckland communities.
