Reso is a New Zealand owned and operated food company known for their high quality, premium European food portfolio with partnerships across many of New Zealand's top restaurants, cafes, hotels and chocolatiers.
As part of their next stage of growth they are seeking a driven and experienced Commercial & Operations Manager (COM) to lead their commercial and operational functions and to play a pivotal role in their continued success.

About the Role:As the COM, you'll be the bridge between commercial strategy and operational execution and ensure the seamless co-ordination between suppliers, logistics, and customers.
You'll drive business growth, optimise profitability, and ensure their imported products meet the highest standards of quality and customer service.
Your expertise will be instrumental in achieving Reso's strategic goals and maintaining their commitment to excellence.
What You'll Do:Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth, enhance operational efficiency, and capitalise on market opportunities.
Collaborate with the Managing Director (MD) to translate the company's 5-Year Strategy into actionable steps.Commercial Focus: Drive revenue growth, conduct market analysis, develop pricing strategies, and build a strong commercial mindset across the business.Lead the Warehousing, Purchasing and Customer support teams.Financial Oversight: Manage financial performance, develop budgets, oversee risk management, and provide strategic financial decision-making.Operational Management: Streamline operations, reduce costs, boost productivity, and ensure a robust and efficient supply chain.Risk Management: Establish and implement risk management frameworks, mitigate potential risks, and ensure compliance.Health, Safety & Compliance: Provide clear safety leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a safe working environment.Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, logistics providers, and other key stakeholders.This is a great role for someone who is commercially savvy and who is keen to work with the MD to achieve the growth aspirations of the business.
