Our IDS comprises of three parts, Ward 10a – a 12 bed inpatient service, Helensburgh Cottage – a 4 bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and the Community Liaison Team.As a Mental Health Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:Supporting our nurses and other members of the health care teamPatient movementPatient cares, as requiredStock reconciliationWard maintenancePatient watch/supervision, with one-on-one care as requiredAbout the Team/Service/LocationHealth New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities.
