This role involves performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:Facility Maintenance:Perform routine inspections and maintenance of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.Troubleshoot and repair facility-related issues to maintain a safe and functional work environment.Coordinate with external vendors for specialized facility maintenance services when needed.Machine Maintenance & Repair:Conduct preventative maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in machinery.Perform equipment installations, adjustments, and upgrades as required.Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.Safety & Compliance:Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and industry standards.Identify and address potential hazards in the facility and on production equipment.Participate in safety training and initiatives to promote a safe work environment.Qualifications:Education & Experience:High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance, machine repair, or facilities maintenance.Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.Basic welding and fabrication skills are a plus.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Work and Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying temperatures.Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.Industrial/manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and potential hazards.May require working evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.At Amphenol IPC we offer a collaborative work environment where you will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects, work on process optimization, and play a key role in meeting customer needs.
