About the Role

Wellington Water is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our mechanical equipment and systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain mechanical equipment and systems at water, wastewater, and stormwater pump stations, reservoirs, and bulk water distribution facilities.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the team.
  • Proactively meet Health & Safety requirements.
  • Ensure stakeholders are advised of environmental impacts.
  • Support the service delivery team with customer management and resource planning.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant Mechanical Engineering/trade certificate with experience, skilled welder and machine operator abilities, full Class 1 and 2 Driving Licenses, and able to work reliably and independently on complex assignments.
