Maintenance Manager required for Merck Gruppe - Msd Sharp & Dohme's animal health manufacturing site. The successful candidate will lead a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, with experience in leading teams and driving improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance services, minimizing downtime, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a culture of safety and quality within the maintenance team
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are documented and recorded accurately
  • Provide input into capital project requests and budget planning
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Advanced Trade qualification in relevant discipline (Industrial Measurement and Control, Electrical, or Mechanical)
  • Bachelor of Engineering with Electronic/Instrumentation focus acceptable provided adequate field experience can be demonstrated
  • Minimum 8 years post-tertiary related experience in a related field
  • Experience with GMP, GLP, or ISO 9000 in a production environment or a highly regulated industry (preferably biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing)
