General Manager - Engineering and Delivery

We are looking for a strategic and dynamic General Manager - Engineering andDelivery to lead our engineering and project delivery functions. This is aunique opportunity to shape the future of Northpower’s network operations andcontribute to delivering essential services across the region.

About the Role
You will be a key member of the Network Leadership Team and will be overseeingthe efficient delivery of Northpower’s capital and maintenance programmes,ensuring asset integrity, and providing expert technical guidance. You’ll havethe opportunity to:

- Leadand mentor the Engineering and Delivery team, fostering a culture ofcontinuous improvement and safety
- Drivethe successful delivery of opex and capex programmes, ensuring projectsare completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
- Providestrategic leadership on engineering design and technical standards,ensuring alignment with industry best practices
- Collaboratewith key stakeholders, both internal and external, to enhance networkreliability and customer satisfaction
- Embedrobust risk management processes and promote safety leadership across alloperations

About you
We’re seeking a results-oriented leader with:

- Adegree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and extensiveexperience in the electricity networks environment
- Provenleadership experience with a track record of driving engineering andoperational success in a complex environment
- Strongproject and contract management skills, with the ability to deliverhigh-impact results
- Excellentcommunication and relationship management abilities, with a focus oncollaboration and stakeholder engagement
- Ademonstrated commitment to safety leadership and risk management practices
