Are you an experienced leader in the electricity networks sector, passionate about driving engineering innovation and operational efficiency?We are looking for a strategic and dynamic General Manager - Engineering and Delivery to lead our engineering and project delivery functions.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Northpower’s network operations and contribute to delivering essential services across the region.
About The Role You will be a key member of the Network Leadership Team and will be overseeing the efficient delivery of Northpower’s capital and maintenance programmes, ensuring asset integrity, and providing expert technical guidance.
You’ll have the opportunity to: Lead and mentor the Engineering and Delivery team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
Drive the successful delivery of opex and capex programmes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Provide strategic leadership on engineering design and technical standards, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to enhance network reliability and customer satisfaction.
Embed robust risk management processes and promote safety leadership across all operations.

About You We’re seeking a results-oriented leader with: A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and extensive experience in the electricity networks environment.
Proven leadership experience with a track record of driving engineering and operational success in a complex environment.
Strong project and contract management skills, with the ability to deliver high-impact results.
Excellent communication and relationship management abilities, with a focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
A demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and risk management practices.
