We have several key leadership opportunities available in our Data, Insights and Monitoring directorate.Reporting to the General Manager, Data, Insights and Monitoring, the Manager, System Performance Monitoring leads and coordinates efforts across the enterprise in fulfilment of our role as system monitors.ResponsibilitiesThe Manager, System Performance Monitoring will use their expertise to:Enhance the reputation of Te Puni Kokiri as system monitors who can be effective at holding the system to account for adequate delivery of services to Maori.Build and maintain strong external relationships with state sector agencies, in particular central agencies and other influencers in the Public Service and wider community.Lead the development and monitoring of system indicators for how well public services perform for Maori, finding ways to transparently share this externally, primarily with key agencies and iwi, hapu and whanau.Provide leadership and strategic advice to direct and deliver the monitoring responsibilities of Te Puni Kokiri.Be a trusted advisor to a wide range of stakeholders who can support the development of solutions that work well for Maori.Lead a team of highly skilled kaimahi and support them on best practice, implementation and opportunities as they present themselves.Lead and model a strong collaborative work approach and culture.Ko wai koe | About youTo be successful in this role, you will have experience working in system performance monitoring environments. You will have experience leading and mentoring teams. You're a people person who can easily translate complex ideas into workable delivery programmes. Experience working in hybrid agile environments is a plus.
