Job DescriptionAs Z Energy evolves its digital transformation, and becomes increasingly reliant on digital applications, data engineering products and modern enterprise solutions to drive operations, customer interactions, and innovation, we are pleased to welcome a Kaiarahi Kaipuhanga DevOps / Lead DevOps Engineer to our scaling Digital team.
Joining a diverse, cross functional Engineering team, you will provide technical leadership within large initiatives, steering DevOps best practices, designing solutions and supporting our Agile teams to build, deploy, integrate, enhance and support software that delivers value for Z.

You will have the opportunity to: To lead, coach, and develop a skilled team of DevOps Engineers ensuring our existing platforms and systems are reliable and remain operationalContribute to defining and implementing frameworks, standards and patterns for DevOps to followLead the deployment and monitoring of applications in your squadsMaintain and expand our CI/CD pipeline through automation and scripting
QualificationsWhat you'll bring to Z Experience working in cloud environments, preferred experience in Microsoft AzureExperience building CI/CD pipelines, developing reusable patternsExperience developing and debugging .NET applications C# code/NodeJS/PythonHands-on experience using Terraform to provision and manage cloud infrastructureWorking across multiple capabilities to deliver great experiencesExperience coaching/mentoring engineers, in terms of both technical and professional growthAnd of course, you'll be passionate about what matters to Z, embracing and living our values to help us deliver on our aspirations and broader commitment to Aotearoa New Zealand.
