Health and Safety PCBU Project Lead - Fixed TermLocation: Auckland or ChristchurchClosing date: 26 October 2024Reference: 1089055Health and Safety PCBU Project Lead – 12 Month Fixed TermWe are looking for a Health and Safety PCBU Project Lead to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract to drive the deliverables of the PCBU project and contribute to embedding a proactive safety culture at Southern Cross Healthcare.The Project Lead will work closely with the Health and Safety team to guide the development of a comprehensive PCBU Framework, including a RACI Matrix, an effectiveness-focused Programme, and a Monitoring and Reporting system designed to elevate the business's health and safety outcomes. The H&S PCBU Project Lead will ensure deliverables are met within scope, time, and budget, while fostering continuous improvement and strategic alignment across all levels of the organisation.The successful candidate will be based either in Auckland or Christchurch.Minimum Requirements5 Years of experience in similar rolesA relevant tertiary qualificationThe ability to demonstrate an understanding of the HSWA 2015 and other associated regulations, codes of practice, standards, and guidelinesEstablishes and maintains strong trusting relationships with people from across business areas, functions, and the organisation through consistent actions, values, and communicationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsLeads by example in all interactionsExcellent time management and organisational skillsFacilitates open and honest communication between partiesPrevious experience in a healthcare industry would be desirableKo wai matou | Our OrganisationSouthern Cross Healthcare is driven by a clear purpose to advance the provision of quality healthcare in Aotearoa New Zealand.
