ASB Rural Banking is a team of dedicated rural specialists who work closely with our customers to deliver unbeatable customer experiences. We operate in an extremely competitive market and our client service is the best in the industry. Our rural bankers have a good grasp of rural business realities; many are farmers themselves or have experience in farming and they are very much a part of their local community.
To continue our excellent success story in our Rural team, we are looking for Senior Rural Managers to join our Southland and Mid-Canterbury teams.
The role | Te tūranga:
As the Senior Rural Manager, you will be responsible for proactively managing a high-value customer portfolio and driving growth of quality rural business in the region. Your affinity with the rural sector, personal credibility within the industry, unbeatable people skills and innovative approach to delivering to your customer's needs will enable you to grow successful relationships with your customers while developing a strong network of contacts. You'll understand the importance of working alongside customers to build stronger rural businesses that are resilient to the demands facing the sector while recognising their business success accelerates progress for them and their community.
You will enhance ASB's external profile and reputation in the Rural sector using internal and external communication channels. This communication will focus on the promotion of ASB capabilities, knowledge and expertise in business activation and delivering superior customer outcomes for clients in the Rural sector.
About you | Ō pūkenga:
Tertiary qualified or with significant knowledge of the finance and banking industry and rural sector, your proven track record in managing and growing a client portfolio will get your foot in the door; while your negotiation, problem-solving, time-management skills and courage to have robust business conversations with customers will underpin your ongoing success. Naturally driven and motivated by providing unbeatable customer outcomes and solutions, you will thrive in working within a high-performing team.
