**Mō te tūnga | About the role**

As a Service Manager, your role involves creating a positive team environment, meeting individual needs, and building relationships with families. Prior people management experience is required, and a background in Health and Disability is preferred but not essential. Key attributes include a genuine desire to make a positive difference, a can-do attitude, and adaptability. You'll report to the Area Manager and collaborate with other Service Managers and the Regional/National team to support a supportive work environment.

- Passion for the services provided by IDEA Services and the people supported.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- People management experience, including HR practices.
- Experience in delivering outcomes in a high-pressure and changing environment.
- Ability to develop a functional and positive team environment.

**Tāima | Working Hours**

It's important to note that due to the nature of the services provided, the position requires availability for the below hours with base hours of 40 per week plus on call.
- Availability between Monday to Friday (6:30 am to 7:30 pm), weekends (6:30 am to 2:30 pm), and other core hours.
- On-call requirements on a rotational basis, covering 80 hours per fortnight.
