**The purpose of this position is to provide traffic management support to ensure the delivery of effective temporary traffic management across various local road projects for our Ashburton Maintenance Team. In this diverse, hands on role you will need to be able to adapt to the fast-paced work environment and be able to make decisions under pressure.**

**Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Setting up and removing site traffic management
- Completing all required documentation prior to and post project
- Directing incoming deliveries to site while ensuring the safety of workers and the public
- Overseeing the establishment, maintenance and removal of TTM measures

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Full Class 1 Driver's Licence
- Full Class 2 Driver's Licence (preferred but not essential)
- Full Class 3/4 Drivers licence (preferred but not essential)
- Site Safe Passport (preferred but not essential)
- Construct Safe Tier 1 (preferred but not essential)
- Relevant experience on civil construction and roading sites in New Zealand
- Experience on Local Roads(both Rural and Urban) and of High to Low Speed Environments
- Must have reliable transport to get you to and from the yard every day/night when needed
- Physical ability to complete work
- Good Team Player
- Honest & reliable
- Trustworthy
- Ability to communicate if something is not right or safe
- Ability to think ahead
- Good communication skills including reading and writing
