**Mō te tūnga | About the Role**
Our Social Work Service has a unique and rewarding opportunity for an NZ Registered Social Worker to join us in providing high quality care to the Ashburton and Rural communities.
This is a varied position with no two days the same Working in our Hospitals and community-based settings you will work as a rural generalist social worker.
Our services cover the areas from the Rangitata River to Hanmer Springs so travel will be required. We - re a dedicated and supportive team who are committed to supporting your continued development through our range of professional development and supervision opportunities.
**Ko wai koe | About You**
In this role, you will be responsible for providing assessment and intervention for adults, children and families with illness and/or disability to support them to remain in their own environment for as long as possible.

- The ability to work using your own initiative and clinical judgement within a community setting;
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team;
- A flexible and adaptable approach to caseload management;
- Registration with the New Zealand Social Worker - s Board along with current Annual Practicing Certificate is essential;
