Equipment service advisor

The Opportunity Our Auckland Branch has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Equipment Service Advisor to join our team. This role is integral to the success of Cable Price, and we are looking for someone who wants to provide our customers with exceptional service. In this role, your focus will be to provide a complete solution for the delivery of maintenance and service work to our customers, ensuring the customer experience is positive and maximized. You will become the point of contact for our customers, providing relevant, accurate, and timely information through each stage of the service process, ensuring customer expectations are not only met but exceeded, building long-lasting strong relationships. Responsibilities include: Proactive service scheduling by keeping in touch with valued customers. Working on increasing after sales profitability. Working closely with the workshop to maximize utilization of resources. Managing the work in progress (WIP) in partnership with the workshop. First point of contact for customers on the day to capture all repair and service work in detail. Present full service details and explain additional repairs and requirements to clients for authorization. Processing customer payments for invoices. Monitoring daily repair orders and keeping customers informed of progress, delays, and collection time. Raising Internal/warranty & customer invoicing and purchase orders. To be successful in this role you will have: Excellent customer service skills. Proven organizational and planning skills. A strong commitment to Health and Safety. Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal & written. High level of computer literacy. The ability to perform under pressure and to prioritize and multitask in a time-driven environment. Demonstrated problem solving, logistics, and/or service experience. Knowledge of the automotive or heavy transport industry would be desirable and will prove beneficial.
