This is where you come in

You'll be joining a team of experienced Reliability Engineers and will interact with a wide range of Design and Development Engineers, to ensure that the reliability of their designs is well tested. You'll work on items that range from individual parts to complete appliances, and from current products to new technologies. Typically, you'll be multi-tasking across a range of projects, and potentially across multiple product groups and locations.

The primary focus of this position is on reliability testing of our Cooking and Dishwashing appliances, including the total testing process of determination of requirements, design, planning, execution, interpretation and investigation of results, and reporting. This includes designing and fabricating test rigs, which often include electrical and pneumatic controls and equipment, integrating a variety of instrumentation, and operating these rigs to perform the tests. You will also be responsible for leading some design verification activities through the Product Development process, from concept generation to production.

We are looking for applicants who enjoy the practical, hands-on nature of reliability testing, and have skills and experience in all aspects of working in an electro-mechanical test lab environment.

Key skills that you should bring to this role:
- ability to build relationships and trust with teams and stakeholders- ability to design, fabricate, modify, and operate test rigs- experience in setting up and utilising a range of instrumentation, data logging and control equipment- basic software skills or an interest to learn in this area- curiosity and attentive to detail while running tests- skilful in recording, interpreting, and reporting results- natural problem-solving skills- a passion to deliver the best reliability in our products.

You should have a relevant tertiary qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Science)
