- Evening Shift Monday to Friday - 4.30pm to 8pm
- Based in Burwood Hospital

As an Admissions Officer in the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) at Burwood Hospital you will be providing administrative and general clerical services to support and assist staff and patients within the Operating Suite, Burwood Hospital which consists of Theatre, AU/PACU and TSU.

This is a permanent part-time role working Monday to Friday Evenings from 4.30pm to 8pm

As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement this role has been mapped to National Band3/Profile 3

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Coordinating admissions and admitting patients Working with a variety of patient management systems
- Ensuring all information is collated, patient records are complete and managed
- Providing excellent customer service
- Supporting Nursing and other PACU team members

- Sound clerical background preferably in a hospital setting
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise
- High level of proficiency and accurate in data entry
- Good general computer knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team

**Desirable**:

- A proficient working knowledge of Patient Management and ordering systems
