The Spinal Unit is a leading rehabilitation centre at Burwood Hospital and we want you to join our dedicated team providing top class care.

A Hospital Aide is an integral part of our team of health professionals. We are looking for a Hospital Aide who has excellent communication skills, and the ability to use their initiative. You will enjoy being busy and don - t mind that the role can be at times physically demanding. You will be hard-working and enjoy working in a well-established team.

A patient - s journey in the spinal unit is complex and challenging with highs and lows, so we need you to be positive and passionate about rehabilitation to ensure our patients reach their full potential.

The role of a Hospital Aide varies from day to day and contribute to the unit is running smoothly and to its highest potential. This could mean performing a variety of tasks such as:

- Basic patient care
- Patient watch
- Cleaning and tidying the ward/house keeping
- Assisting the nursing team with a variety of tasks on the ward.
- Ensuring that patients have the best experience possible.
