We operate as a wholesale entity, partnering with retail service providers (RSPs) and mobile network operators (MNOs), who in turn offer a diverse range of plans and services to customers using our robust network. This collaboration has enabled us to reach over 249,000 households and businesses across regions including Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke’s Bay, Manawatū-Whanganui, Taranaki, and Auckland.

**The role**

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Test Engineer to join our team. Your core responsibility will be to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This entails developing and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, usability, and performance. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, the role involves translating requirements into testable scenarios, providing valuable input on design and implementation for enhanced testability.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform various types of testing, including Smoke, System, E2E, Regression, Functional, Non-Functional, and Integration testing.
- Manage multiple testing environments and potential performance testing requirements.
- Coordinate changes for testing purposes.
- Utilize testing tools such as JIRA and Postman.

**Your unique contribution**

Your in-depth software testing knowledge will bring an instinctive sense of quality, robustness, and expertise to drive the best value from digital platform products. You will also need:

- A relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Extensive experience in software testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience in manual testing, API testing, and test automation concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- ServiceNow or Telco experience is beneficial but not compulsory.
- ServiceNow SME or ATF certified SME is a plus.
- Ability to convert manual tests into automated tests is desirable.
