As the Principal Advisor, Leadership & Culture, you will be a strategic partner to WFA leaders, supporting their leadership development and by doing so, ensuring WFA delivers on its strategic goal to have a dynamic and thriving workforce where our people trust us to do the right thing, are empowered in their day-to-day roles, and feel engaged and connected to the purpose and vision of WFA..

The Principal Advisor will be a strategic partner to WFA leaders, supporting their leadership development and by doing so, ensuring WFA delivers on its strategic goal to have a dynamic and thriving workforce. You will be responsible for the designing and embedding of a leadership development framework, designing targeted development interventions, and putting in place effective talent management and succession planning processes.

Wellington Free Ambulance exists to deliver an ambulance service that excels in emergency response and clinical communications underpinned by proactive partnerships to deliver equitable health and wellbeing outcomes for our community.

We are the one and only paramedic service for Wellington and Wairarapa, and the only one in the country that is free.

We are proud of the place we hold in our community, and the high-quality, leading-edge patient care that our people deliver every day. As well as emergency paramedic care, we provide patient transfer services; have paramedics who are part of the Life Flight crew and rescue squad, and we operate the 111 clinical communications centre for our region. We respond on average to around 57,000 emergency incidents per year.

We have an awesome team of around 400 staff and over 80 volunteers who cover the area from Cook Strait to just north of Waikanae on the Kapiti Coast, and across to Mt Bruce in the Wairarapa. Who we are looking for

The Principal Advisor will be a collaborative and innovative thinker who naturally involves others to look at problems from different perspectives and develops fresh solutions to provide targeted people-centric interventions, advice, support and guidance to our leaders. Your contributions will empower both our leaders and WFA to create an exceptional employee experience.

We are looking for an Advisor with significant senior experience in leadership, culture and organisation development across various organisations.

**The successful applicant with have**:
A Tertiary qualification in Business Management/HR or OD related disciplines (or equivalent experience)

**Proven experience at an advisory level in three or more of**:
Leadership Development
Strategic workforce planning,
Talent management,
Organisational Development
Experience in the design and delivery of a range of organisational development projects including leader development programmes

**Skills and Experiences**:
