**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
We are looking for a Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive secretarial, administrative and executive level support to the Co-Directors of Kāhui o te Ihi (Mental Health & Addictions Directorate). This is a great opportunity for an experienced PA wanting a change and challenge or for an experienced team administrator who is looking for an opportunity to take the step in their career and grow into the PA role. This PA role is part of our Directorate Leadership Team (DLT) and will work collaboratively with a second PA supporting the Leadership team of the DLT. The role will be based at Auckland City Hospital three days a week, and at our Pt Chevalier site twice a week.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
As the PA, you will ensure that the Co-Directors have excellent administrative support, enabling them to focus on business development and high-level management issues. You will be an excellent organiser and communicator with a proactive and friendly attitude. You will have the multi-tasking ability and flexibility to work in this dynamic and ever-evolving environment, and will work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
No two days are the same in this dynamic environment and you will need to make full use of your superior organisational skills to ensure the Co-Directors are in the right place at the right time, fully prepared with the right information. Diary and correspondence management, co-ordinating meetings, minute taking, arranging travel, preparing presentations will be part of your core duties. There is the opportunity to take on a variety of stimulating project work.

- Able to be flexible and proactive
- Customer service and quality orientation.
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Good inter-personal and negotiation skills
- Sound MS Office skills (2003, 2007 and 2010) including, advanced Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
- Agenda preparation and minute taking experience
- High level of personal and professional integrity and can be relied on to maintain the strictest confidentiality.
You will be provided support and buddying while you grow and develop into the Personal Assistant role.
