The successful candidate will lead strategic planning for transportation assets, developing and implementing asset management strategies to ensure optimal performance, sustainability, and resilience of the transport network. Key tasks include:

Developing Asset Management Plans

Collaborate with AT's asset planning team and wider asset management functions to produce 10 & 30-year investment plans for transportation infrastructure.

Analyzing Asset Data

Work with other business units to support preparation of funding request programmes (RLTP). Analyze asset data to identify performance trends and forecast asset need into the future.

Leading Best Practices

Identify and lead activities to incorporate best practices into the AT asset management discipline. Develop opportunities to improve AT's Asset Management maturity.

Providing Subject Matter Expertise

Provide AM/FM planning and engineering subject matter advice and expertise. Train, teach, and mentor staff in asset management practice.

Representing AT in Transport Sector Workgroups

Participate in transport sector workgroups as primary AT asset management representative.

Requirements

  • Degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or Business (economics), Finance, or Information Technology related degree.
  • Minimum 15 years asset management experience, preferably including some Local Government experience.
  • Minimum five years analysis and reporting of complex AM/FM data.
  • Extensive knowledge of IIMM and ISO5500x.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite (Power BI).
