As a Senior Engineer specialising in security, you will be the an expert on security for your team and will work to embed security into your team's development lifecycle.

**What are we looking for?**

You will have extensive knowledge of modern security practice, cloud, and the ability to implement best engineering practices.
- Proven ability to help, motivate, and work with other team members in an Agile and/or DevSecOps environment.
- Experience working with Digital channels for mission critical services (i.e., Financial) preferred.
- Strong effective verbal and written skills. Skilled at communicating complex information effectively to a range of different audiences.
- Effective presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to challenge persuade and influence.

**Required experience**:

- Experience with SIEM platforms and PKI infrastructure
- Deploying resources or software following secure hardening advice or standards
- Working as part of a wider engineering practice alongside teams that are focused on specific platform and system components.
- Values automation and scripting over manual repetition; shares and encourages others on the team to do the same.
- Elevates the standards through new tooling, processes, procedures, and effective communication. Able to carry out research, testing, implementation, and improvement for new systems.

**Nice to haves**:

- Ideal security certifications: CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer
- Professional experience as an engineer on complex/large AWS or Azure platforms preferred.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (such as Terraform, Ansible, Git)
- Container/host orchestration resources or tools
- CI-CD extensions and integrations that check for security risk or standards
