**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential risks and weaknesses in our systems and networks.
- Develop and implement robust security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption technologies, and access controls, to prevent unauthorised access and data breaches.
- Monitor and analyse security logs and alerts to detect and respond to potential security incidents in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on the latest cyber threats, attack techniques, and security best practices to proactively address emerging risks.
- Perform security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on security-related matters, including training and awareness programs.
- Conduct security incident response activities, including containment, investigation, and recovery, to minimise the impact of security incidents.
- Regularly assess and enhance our organisation’s security policies, procedures, and guidelines to align with evolving cyber threats and industry standards.
- Prepare and present reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies to management and stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cyber security, including threat assessment, incident response, vulnerability management, and security operations.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies.
- Familiarity with industry security frameworks and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and keeping up to date with the latest advancements in cyber security.
