**About the role**:
Port Otago are seeking an experienced Integration and Reporting Lead to join their innovative IT team. Based out of their Head office at Port Chalmers, Dunedin and reporting into the Head of Digital, you will play a pivotal role in enabling change and improvements to the business to achieve strategic goals.

This role will be responsible for providing leadership and management to Port Otago’s integration solution set to ensure seamless communication and messaging mechanisms are in place to support disparate internal and external systems.

You will develop and prepare a robust systems integration strategy, take technical ownership of the continuous improvement and pipeline of work for Port Otago’s Integration and Reporting solution set, manage system issues, upgrades, testing, quality assurance and the implementation process for enhancements, including any required change management processes. You will also coordinate and ultimately deliver customer focused reporting and data management solutions based on business requirements and in line with IT strategy.**
**Key Skills / Experience**:

- Proven experience as an Integration Specialist or similar role
- In depth understanding of software integration including API’s, file transfer, EDI messaging and database access (SQL), and proficient with MS Office suite
- Experience with integration technologies such as Alteryx, Azure or similar
- Excellent knowledge of data warehousing and various BI visualisation tools and solutions, particularly Power BI
- Knowledge of data architecture, analysis, principles, and experience delivering business focused reporting and data visualisation solutions
- Analytical background, with the ability to translate complex technical information to plain English, and articulate this to stakeholders at all levels
