**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

We are looking for a Risk Advisor to join our Quality and Risk team based at our National Support Office located in Auckland CBD.

This role will be instrumental in supporting and maturing the risk management framework within Southern Cross Healthcare. Working closely with the Safety, Quality, and Risk team, other national office functions and our hospitals, the Risk Advisor will be responsible for providing expertise and guidance to develop and sustain risk management capability, analysis and reporting through implementation of our enterprise risk management platform.

- Demonstrated expertise with 5+ years of experience in risk management, coupled with a keen interest in training and education.
- A relevant bachelor's or master's degree in fields such as healthcare management, business administration, risk management, or a related discipline
- Ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders to drive a proactive and responsive risk management culture
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with the ability to assess and evaluate complex situations, foresee potential issues, and recommend effective risk mitigation strategies and assurance processes.
- Logical and clear communicator with well-developed time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain great working relationships
- Advanced written English and high level of accuracy and proficiency in documentation and reporting, confidence, and experience in using digital platforms.
