**The Job**
This vacancy comes following a promotion for the current Technical Services Manager and leaves the role well established and ready for the next incumbent. The role has been designed to be the Commercial HVAC guru of Panasonic New Zealand, one that has successfully enhanced the company’s reputation for quality of service as well as products.

Leading a small team of HVAC experts, you will ensure a high level of pre
- and post-sales service is delivered on a daily basis by you and the team on key accounts. You will work closely with your team to maintain a high level of service throughout the process. As an expert and key point of contact for Panasonic, you will be integral in troubleshooting faults, as well as preventing them from occurring.

Some of your time will be spent out with the sales team on client sites, finding solutions and solving problems for any roadblocks that may be in the way. You may be required to repair or fix any problems you come across or train people on how to do it. So, hands on experience installing/commissioning VRF/VRV systems is going to be essential to perform this role. You will be building client relationships that will be a benefit to ongoing sales and excellent customer service to ensure these relationships are maintained.

**Skills required**
Your keen interest in problem-solving and in guiding your colleagues and customers to resolutions will be a personal driver for you. As a key contributor to maintaining the high levels of Panasonic’s customer service, you will have an easy-going, communicative and pragmatic approach to your work.
To be eligible for this role you will need:

- EWRB/EST Registered with current practicing license
- Trade qualified in refrigeration/Air conditioning OR electrical
- Experience in technical management role within HVAC industry
- Commercial HVAC service technician experience
- Strong technical competence with VRF systems
- BMS (Building management system) experience
- Hands on approach, problem solving ability
- Customer skills
- Strong oral, written communications skills & IT and computer literate
- Organised and trustworthy - this is an autonomous role
- Clean Driving license
