**Location**: Auckland -Counties ManakauContract: Permanent -full timeSalary: $64,900.00 - $81,100.00 About the roleIf you like to connect with Pacific communities and hear the voice of our Pacific People, then influence policy development that helps shape a future that delivers positive outcomes for our Pacific People - this is a perfect role for you. You will need to bring an understanding of policy development, and how policy outcomes can be implemented through partnered funding relationships. Working with Pacific People through our providers to ensure management of services is delivered.What you will do
- Build and maintain positive relationships with Pacific Communities individuals, and service providers to enable effective two-way communication and information sharing.
- Work collaboratively with agencies and providers to support the achievement of positive Pacific outcomes - we manage and monitor funded providers - we do not deliver the services.
- Participate in Pacific community events and meetings to identify and understand issues and priorities where you will analyse and report findings through effective report writing and recommendations.
- Facilitate community meetings, running workshops, and delivering presentations to gather and/or distribute information.

What you'll bring
- Understanding on how to develop policy that can be implemented in partnership with providers.
- Experience in developing and providing advice that brings innovation, cultural knowledge, and expertise to life through gathering the right information.
- Project management and monitoring skills to ensure Pacific People are getting involved in supporting social Policy implementation.
- Influencing skills and an ability to enhance Pacific community conversations and engagement through partnership to ensure the right investment has an impact to our communities.
