**About the role**:
As a Parts Interpreter, you will provide essential support to the Auckland parts department, workshops, and customers. Your main responsibilities include efficiently fulfilling parts orders, offering associated parts to increase sales, overseeing warehouse operations, and ensuring excellent customer service.
- Parts Management: Process parts orders, and suggest related parts to customers.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service, address inquiries, and offer technical advice.
- Warehouse Supervision: Oversee staff, monitor inventory, and handle incoming and outgoing goods.
- Technical Knowledge: Utilize expertise in heavy machinery parts.
- Administration: Perform administrative tasks, maintain records, and process warranty claims.
- Communication: Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers, and resolve issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, and identify process improvements.

Note: This role requires strong customer service skills, technical knowledge of heavy machinery parts, and proficiency in administration and communication.

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a motor industry parts department, demonstrating a strong understanding of parts operations and procedures.
- Proven experience in handling parts supply for the service and repair of heavy machinery, including a solid grasp of hydraulic systems, tracks, undercarriage, and G.E.T, among other components.
- Sound knowledge of warehousing practices, inventory management, and supply chain principles, showcasing the ability to optimize processes and ensure efficient operations.
- A customer-centric mindset with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and satisfaction, consistently going above and beyond to meet customer needs.
- Proficiency in administration and computer skills, including experience with relevant software and systems utilized in the parts department.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders
