Ko Taku Reo Deaf Education New Zealand is a nationwide team of teaching, learning and professional services staff who share a passion for delivering high quality education and services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing ākonga and their whānau.

**ABOUT YOU / MŌ KOE**

You are a qualified NZSL Interpreter interested in joining a team to learn and grow in. You are keen to be part of a vibrant, professional and fun team who offer a high level of collegial support to one another. You are a people person who appreciates and values diverse perspectives while maintaining your own professional standards.

**THE ROLE / TE MAHI**

Although we are a school, this role is not student centric and doesn’t include any specialist educational interpreter responsibilities.

Staff Interpreters work flexibly in both face to face and zoom settings, in a stimulating variety of contexts. Our Staff Interpreters also use their bilingual fluency to translate information between NZSL and written English.

The role also requires some video editing from time to time which we are happy to provide training for if this is outside your current skillset.
