Our North Shore and North Western Toyota Parts teams make up a vital component of our dealerships As our Parts businesses grows, we need more new Parts Interpreters to help us exceed our customers’ expectations. Working as a Group Parts Interpreter with us involves lots of variety; our customers are retail (car enthusiasts, and mums/dads walking in off the street), trade shops, and our internal neighbouring Service team. You’ll help all customers find the parts for their beloved vehicles - and in more than just Toyotas

In this role, you won’t be based at just one of our sites, but you’ll move between our 4 parts teams as and when needed - Wairau Valley, Henderson, Hobsonville and New Lynn. A day at work would look like this:

- Undertaking regular training and showing Kaizen (Toyota philosophy and Japanese for continuous improvement) in your day-to-day work, to keep your parts knowledge sharp.
- Going the extra mile with our customers This could be answering questions about part fitment, installation, and providing basic technical assistance where required.
- Striving for success in a team of likeminded people, that focus on delivering a memorable customer experience.

And when you’re not onsite providing support to 1 of our 4 Parts teams, you’ll be based at our Hobsonville branch being the #1 phone answerer for the whole Parts Group (and there’s flexibility to some of this work from home).

Our teams work closely together, so an important part of this role is building and fostering good relationships with your colleagues - which is easy enough with this friendly bunch

We are looking for someone with industry skills and experience, preferably who has worked in a similar role. You will also:

- Be organised and pride yourself on punctuality and time management.
- Competent with computers and devices - we will provide you with training on all our systems.
- You love helping people And enjoy working with customers, understanding their problems, and providing them with the right solutions.
- You’re a team player and thrive working in team environments.
- Positive can-do attitude, with the mindset to provide solutions, not problems.
- Fast-thinker, and able to re-prioritise effectively.
- Hold a restricted, and clean driver license.

Skills & Experience
