We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Logistics Administrator to join our Distribution Centre in Mangere.
You will be assisting the Warehouse Manager to ensure that we maintain operational standards while leading, mentoring and coaching our team in our busy warehouse.
**Key duties will include**:
- Provide administration support to the warehouse and distribution team
- Responsible for the inventory system and the data entry of all materials to and from the warehouse
- Schedules the arrival and departure of inward-bound and outward-bound vehicles
- Supports periodic stock takes and reconciles inventory records with physical counts
- Suggests improvements in warehouse and distribution procedures and practices
- Ensures accurate inventory control databases, systems and records are maintained.
- Prior experience working in Customer Service and FMCG with a Strong customer focus and emphasis on service excellence
- Customer focused approach to work, able to develop and maintain customer relationships, build credibility and trust and quickly and effectively solve customer problems
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and oral)
- Ability to manage, prioritise and meet key deadlines and work well under pressure
- Proven leadership, a strong sense of teamwork as well as the ability to work independently
- A high level of attention to detail
- MS Office skills - Be a confident user of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
- Be able to communicate in a professional manner with internal and external parties
- Experience working in a similar role.
