About the role | Mō te tūnga
We are looking for an Advisor to support the delivery of our people operations. This role will provide expertise as an HR generalist which includes general advice, people analytics, policies and processes, and payroll processes at the EPA. The role will work closely with the Team Leader of the Partnering & Resourcing team within the People & Capability group.
Your typical day will include supporting the whole spectrum of the employee lifecycle. This will include the smooth running of payroll processes and reporting - giving you room to contribute to ongoing process improvement and this role your own You will have the opportunity to provide support to the annual remuneration review and advice surrounding remuneration decisions.
This is a fixed term role for 12 months through to August 2025
About you | Mōhou ake
We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and is willing to roll up your sleeves and jump into your work head first. In addition, we’re after a range of skills and experience - if you have some or all of the below, we would love to hear from you.
- Providing HR generalist advice and support to an organisation
- Understanding of reward, remuneration and job evaluation methods
- Exposure to payroll practices, processes and systems
- A keen learner with a desire to build on experience
- The ability to get stuck in and work collaboratively with a great team

Salary range
$71,618 - $107,426 per annum (midpoint $89,522).
This is the full salary range. Appointments are made within the range depending on skills and experience.
