We are seeking a proven performer who has an interest in environmental management to work with our Hamilton based catchment management team. The catchment management team focuses on building partnerships with landowners and stakeholders on projects relating to soil conservation, water quality and bio-diversity protection and enhancement.

You will drive the catchment management work in collaboration with landowners and local iwi within the Lower Waikato Zone. You will also help prepare and review plans and reports to assist with project management and implementation of the zone work programme. Importantly you will enjoy working with people; have a real interest in promoting sustainable land use and protecting and enhancing the natural environment.

**To be successful in this role, you will**:

- Have excellent communication, interpersonal skills and planning skills.
- Be organised and self-motivated.
- Be a competent MS suite user.
- Have a full driver’s license, be physically fit and a confident swimmer.
