We are looking for three professional and collaborative individuals to be ambassadors for the Christchurch City Council, working with community groups, elected members, government agencies as well as with other Christchurch City Council units. These roles require a very high level of attention to detail, demonstrated experience in community development and experience working with a local authority or government/community organisation.

**About the roles**:
We have three exciting opportunities within the Community Partnerships Team for people with a proven track record in community development and partnership development for the following roles.

- Taking a lead role in implementing the goals of the Council's Te Whitingia: Te Haumako Strengthening Communities Together Strategy as well as the Council's various Community Grants Schemes
- Supporting staff to build their own authentic relationships with Maori across Christchurch and Banks Peninsula

**Requirements**:

- The ability to adapt your communication style to different levels of understanding and remain confident when working in pressurised situations.

**What you'll get in return**:
If you enjoy making connections with others, untold variety awaits with flexibility to work across the city at times. You will have autonomy but also be part of a creative, dynamic, and caring team who pride themselves in being the people people of Council. If this opportunity excites you, we look forward to hearing from you.

Feel like you don't meet every single requirement of the job description?

**Additional information**:
