**Mō tō Mātou Rōpū - About Our Team**

The Northern Region Internal Audit (nRIA) plays a key role in helping the district hospitals meet their objectives. This is achieved by providing assurance around the effectiveness of internal controls and advising managers and staff regarding their process efficiency initiatives.

**Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analytics Assistant to join our Northern Region Internal Audit (nRIA) division. You will be reporting directly to the Senior Internal Auditor-CAATTs. Based at Penrose, we are looking for someone who A self-starter with a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and develop his/her career, has excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, team mentality, and above all customer focused.

**The key responsibilities of this position include**:

- Development and deployment of Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
- Assisting in analysing large data sets a timely manner.
- Liaise with internal and external people from various divisions across the businesses and build strong relationships

**Ngā Pūkenga me ngā Wheako - Skills & Experience**
- Excellent Excel skills
- Experience preferred, or willingness to learn our data analytics software ACL
- Good analysis skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
