We are looking for a Senior Adviser to join our Data and Analytics team. This is a permanent position based in our either Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) office or Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) office.
Mō te tūranga | About the role
The Data and Analytics team is a small but high-powered function within the strategy Governance and Engagement Branch and led by the Chief Data Office. Operating at an enterprise level across the Commission the team works to ensure effective and efficient data governance and data management practices across the Commission in line with the Commission's Data and Analytics Strategy.
Reporting to the Chief Data Officer (CDO), you will be responsible for working with internal stakeholders to support the delivery of a wide range of technical and non-technical initiatives that will deliver to our data and analytics strategy.

**To be successful in this role you will have experience in**:

- cloud data and analytic services e.g. Azure, Functions, Snowflake, etc
- data and analytics tools e.g. SQL, R, Python, Git, etc
- developing data pipelines
- best practice data governance practices
- process documentation
- statistical methodology
- effective relationship management
