Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role

Reporting to and supporting the Senior Programme Manager - Infrastructure Acceleration Fund, the Senior Programme Coordinator - Infrastructure Acceleration Fund (IAF) is responsible for providing programme management support to the Director - IAF, Senior Commercial Leads - IAF, and Advisors - IAF by providing commercial programme coordination services.

The Senior Programme Coordinator - IAF will have a comprehensive understanding of the IAF process and housing developments to be delivered across the IAF programme. You will also maintain an overview of all work streams within the programme, in order to be able to manage the needs, expectations, and at times competing priorities, of a wide variety of high demand stakeholders.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the IAF Team upholds the programme management and project controls protocols, as established by the Senior Programme Manager - IAF.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Business / Management / Finance / Quality Assurance or similar is desirable
- Project Management qualifications, such as Prince2 is advantageous
- 3-5 years working as a Commercial / Project Coordinator in a high-performing team
- Solid project management and / or project coordination experience and knowledge
- Experience providing coordination support in a large programme / project environment with a number of team members
- Knowledge of machinery of government and experience working in a political environment
- Exceptional organisational skills, especially the ability to multi-task and prioritise, often with tight timeframes at both operational and strategic levels
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Experience coordinating and facilitating workshops in a large and complex programme environment across a number of internal and external stakeholders
- Sound understanding of programme and project finance management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to produce written reports and presentation material including some experience in writing Ministerial Briefings
- Ability to work across the business with a variety of staff
- Proven skills in MS Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
- A proactive, enthusiastic and energetic approach and an ability to work with a minimum of supervision on a day to day basis
- Initiative and sound judgement
- Ability and propensity to embrace change and navigate ambiguity
- Ability to identify areas of improvement and smarter ways of working
