Under the direction of the supervisor - Microgreens works on an as-needed basis in the day-to day operations of our Microgreens operations. Includes but is not limited to: planting, harvesting, irrigating, and other tasks associated with the upkeep of the growing area.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Tray and pot filling, seeding, transplanting, watering, pruning, sanitation, harvesting, packaging, and loading harvested products
- Filling trays and pots with soil
- Seed and water plants microgreens mechanically or using hand tools
- Harvesting products, packaging, and labeling them
- Transplanting or potting and labeling plants
- Regulate greenhouse conditions and indoor and outdoor irrigation systems
- Visually inspect and feel plants' leaves and roots and note their coloring to detect the presence of insects or disease
- Clean work areas, sanitize rafts and hydroponic systems, trays, tools, and maintain grounds and landscaping
- Perform general farm work and participate in projects as needed.
- Maintain a clean and effective environment.
- Lifting and moving objects.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel, also talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 kg. Employees must frequently load and move material. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to walk on uneven ground and climb machinery.
