**About the role**

We are looking for a world class Veterinarian, who wants to make an impact on Farming across the globe. Get the opportunity to deliver value on a truly one-to-many scale. Halter is a platform that is updatable in the field, any breakthrough in our technology can be rolled out immediately to hundreds of thousands of cows. You might discover a new way to detect lameness, and then soon after there would be hundreds of thousands of cows benefiting from that breakthrough. Your work will have an impact on an industry scale.

Get the opportunity to work with the deepest dataset of cow behaviour in the world. We have 18 million days of cow behaviour. For example, we've theorised for decades that cows have best friends. Now we have the data to show that’s true Farmers can use our data to make better decisions. Tracking every single cow's location, health, rumination, grazing, and more. You can now explore deeper into cow behaviour than ever before, and then translate this into new breakthroughs for the industry.

You will be able to work with practices around the world to shape the future role of vets and transform how cow wearable data can be used to advise farmers.

**What your day could look like**:

- 3-4 days a week based in our Auckland office, with 1-2 days hands on with farmers
- Working with Halter's data of cow behaviour to identify trends to inform future product development and develop recommendations to help farmers get the most out of our product
- Run experiments with how we can offer more value to farmers before we scale it in the product.
- Train our Customer Success reps to be able to have deeper, more meaningful discussions with farmers on animal health and mating.
- Ensure our products are exceeding our customers’ expectations and create innovative strategies to get better adoption

**Who are we looking for?**:

- 5+ years Production Animal Veterinary experience working with Farmers
- Experience working with animal data
- Creative problem-solver who is eager to innovate
- Deep empathy for farmers and their animals

- Outstanding communication skills: explains ideas simply and clearly
