**Purpose of the role**:
Working closely with the Regional Manager Northern, this position is responsible for operational management across Auckland and Northland. The role motivates and leads their client services team by driving a Person Directed Service model and achieving agreed outcomes for lasting client success and organisational excellence, as evidenced through service delivery performance targets and KPI’s.

The Service Team Manager will support the delivery of our key priorities, role model the values of Blind Low Vision NZ and promote efficient, effective and cost appropriate service delivery to clients alongside the Regional Manager Northern.

The Service Team Manager will oversee a team of providers, ensuring the delivery of a diverse array of services to clients, including:

- Rehabilitation
- Orientation & Mobility
- Adaptive Communications & Adaptive Technology
- Volunteer Coordination
- Sport & Leisure

Duties include:

- Working with the Operational Service Teams to perform agreed KPI’s
- Team Leadership and development
- Culture Change and Engagement
- Developing & Maintaining Relationships
- Health and Safety

We are looking for someone who can bring their management and leadership experience to this pivotal role and have the ability to turn challenges into success. Someone who has:

- Proven track record of leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect and collaborate.
- The ability to work independently, establish priorities and demonstrate excellent judgement skills.
- An interest in staff engagement and cultural change.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
